Today, we have had a cost-effectiveness evaluation published in JAMA Network Open. It highlights that cleaning and disinfection of shared medical equipment reduces infection and save money. This may be a useful resource in supporting cleaning business cases and models.
We have also had an article published in The Conversation today, to coincide with the cost-effectiveness paper. Please read and share this paper via your networks and socials. It also contains links to the various pieces of supporting research.
You can find links to all our publications on the CLEEN study website. There are also infographics which summarise the results (in the publications and resources section).
There is more to come from the CLEEN study. We are examining how the number of hours of cleaning might affect infection.
