Data collection complete for CLEEN study

Last week saw the end of data collection for the CLEEN study, a major milestone. We have over 5000 participants which is fantastic and what we need.

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank Kate and Georgia in particular, for all their work on this project. Amazing. This is a project I have being trying to fund and run for some time. It was wonderful to have Kate and Georgia do such a fantastic job.

As a broad update on the next things to come for the CLEEN study:

  • Data cleaning and analysis will soon commence
  • Focus groups of cleaners (PSA) in the study have been completed and data analysis is underway
  • A time and motion study to start in around two weeks – prospective observational study to determine the time it takes to clean different pieces of equipment. This will help inform a separate paper, but also future cost-effectiveness models.

More to come in 2024!

Thanks for your interest, Brett.
